A generally auspicious day may not suit every chart. This report starts with days that have the right nakshatra, tithi, yoga and weekday. It then compares each day with your birth chart, as an electional astrologer would, and explains which dates suit you best.
What the report weighs for you
Tarabala and your star strength
For each date, the 9-fold Tara of the Moon’s nakshatra is counted from your Janma nakshatra. A careful astrologer would avoid a day falling on Vipat, Pratyari or Vadha Tara, even when its general panchang is favourable.
Chandrabala and the Moon for your sign
This measures where the transiting Moon sits in relation to your Janma rashi. The 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 10th and 11th houses strengthen a day, while the 4th, 8th and 12th weaken it. The universal finder cannot apply this personal filter.
Your running dasha
The report reads your Vimshottari Mahadasha and Antardasha lords at the time of the event. A benefic or malefic period can provide a supportive or difficult background for a new undertaking.
Saturn and Jupiter transits from your Moon
The report checks whether Saturn is afflicting your Moon through Sade Sati, Ashtama Shani or Dhaiya, periods when major beginnings are traditionally deferred. It also checks whether Jupiter is transiting a favourable house, namely the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th or 11th from the Moon.

How is this different from the free Muhurat Finder?
The free finder applies rules that can be checked for anyone: a suitable nakshatra, tithi, yoga and weekday. The Personalised Muhurat Report starts with those qualifying days, then ranks them against your chart using Tarabala, Chandrabala, your running dasha and Saturn and Jupiter transits from your natal Moon.
What do I need to provide?
You provide your birth date, time and place, the kind of event, and the date range you are considering. The supported events are housewarming, property, vehicle, naming, tonsure and general auspicious work. Birth details are sent securely and never placed in a web address.
Is it computed or written by an AI?
It is computed. Tarabala, Chandrabala, Vimshottari dasha and the Saturn and Jupiter transits all come from ephemeris calculations and classical rules, using the same mathematics as an almanac and validated against Drik Panchang. No AI writes the recommendation.
Does it cover marriage (Vivah) muhurat?
No. A marriage muhurat depends on both partners’ charts and guna milan, so it falls outside this report. The report covers housewarming, property, vehicle purchase, naming, tonsure and general auspicious undertakings.
