v6 current-catalog addendum (2026-08-31): The current website Yana packs are 4 credits for ₹199, 8 credits for ₹359 and 12 credits for ₹499. Every 6 / 12 / 24-pack or ₹349 / ₹599 example retained below is explicitly historical and continues to govern that actual past purchase, balance and actual-price refund calculation. Android remains consumption-only while Play purchasing is dark: website-bought credits and owned reports remain usable in the shared account. If Play purchasing is activated later, Google supplies the displayed/charged price and provider checkout terms; the same wallet and non-waivable refund rights continue to apply. This addendum does not activate Play purchasing.

v5 change-log (2026-08-23): Covers the live Android app without reviving the unpublished v3 iOS, in-app-purchase, over-the-air-update, consultation or credit-expiry language. Carries forward v4's 6 / 12 / 24 credit packs, never-expiring credits and automatic pro-rata wind-down refund. Aligns the payment wording with live Razorpay checkout; removes the blanket waiver of legal remedy; limits the indemnity and termination language; confirms that consumer forums and non-waivable statutory rights remain available; and changes consumer-grievance acknowledgement to 48 hours.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using https://astroyana.com or https://astroyana.in (the "Site"), the Astroyana Android application (the "App"), or any service we provide (together, the "Services"), you ("User", "you") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

These Terms form a contract between you and SNAZZYWORKS, the business that operates the Astroyana service. "Astroyana", "we", "us" and "our" refer to that service and operator.

2. About Astroyana

Astroyana provides:

• Free Vedic- and Western-tradition astrology reports in PDF form
• Paid, one-time-purchase premium astrology reports
• Yana, the AI astrologer — chart-aware questions and answers sold through prepaid question credits
• The Astroyana Android app — a server-backed companion for accounts, reports, Yana, Panchang and, when enabled, Family Vault

Astroyana and Rudrakshakavach (https://rudrakshakavach.com) are separate sister brands operated by SNAZZYWORKS. Neither is the parent of the other. Free Vedic reports may, by design, link to remedial products on Rudrakshakavach.

3. Eligibility

The account service and App are intended for people who are at least 18 years old. A limited website report form may be used by a parent or lawful guardian acting for a minor where that form expressly permits it. The account and Family Vault minor pathways remain unavailable unless the required verified-parental- consent controls are implemented.

You must not misstate your age or authority. We may suspend or close an account used contrary to this section, subject to applicable law.

4. Astrology Disclaimer — ENTERTAINMENT AND INFORMATIONAL USE ONLY

This is the most important section of these Terms. Read it carefully.

4.1 Astrology is not a recognised science

Vedic (Jyotish, Parashari) and Western (Tropical, Placidus) astrology are systems of symbolic interpretation and traditional wisdom, not recognised scientific disciplines. Astrological computations may be deterministic mathematics; astrological interpretations are not.

We do not claim that astrology predicts the future, diagnoses disease, prescribes treatment or determines what you should do.

4.2 Reports and answers are not professional advice

Reports, charts, dasha or dosha analyses, yoga interpretations and Yana answers are for entertainment, self-reflection and education. They are not:

• Medical advice. Do not delay, start or stop treatment because of an astrological reading. Consult a qualified medical professional.
• Mental-health advice. In distress, suicidal ideation or crisis, seek qualified help immediately. In India, iCall (9152987821) and Vandrevala Foundation (+91 9999 666 555) are available resources.
• Legal advice. No output is legal counsel.
• Financial or investment advice. We are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser. Do not make investment decisions from an astrology report.
• Marital or relationship counselling. Compatibility readings are symbolic interpretations, not professional counselling.
• A diagnosis of any psychological, physical, spiritual, karmic or other condition.

4.3 Your decisions

You remain responsible for your decisions. Astroyana outputs do not legally bind you and are not used to grant or deny a legal right, benefit or service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Astroyana is not responsible merely because a user followed or did not follow an astrological interpretation.

Nothing in this section waives a claim for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, a defective or deficient paid service, breach of data-protection duties, or any right or remedy that applicable law does not allow you to waive.

5. Account and authentication

5.1 Sign-in

We use passwordless authentication:

• On the Site, a single-use magic link sent by email
• In the App, a single-use one-time code (OTP) sent by email

Both create the same server-side account session. You must provide a valid email, keep control of it and notify [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for compromise of your email account except to the extent the loss was also caused by our failure to meet a non-waivable duty.

5.2 One account and no transfer

Each person may maintain one account across the Site and App. We may merge or close duplicates. You must not sell, transfer, lease, lend or share your account.

6. Accurate birth information

Astrological calculations depend on accurate birth date, time and place. You are responsible for the inputs you provide. We are not responsible for an inaccurate interpretation caused by your incorrect input.

If a verifiable input error caused a material change, contact [email protected] within 14 days of generation. We will ordinarily regenerate the report without charge. We may refuse obviously impossible, future-dated or automated abusive inputs.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use the Services unlawfully or to harass, defame or manipulate another person
• Exceed published or reasonably applied fair-use and abuse-prevention limits
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape or systematically extract the Services
• Misstate identity, age, consent or authority
• Attempt unauthorised access or probe for vulnerabilities outside a published responsible-disclosure programme
• Create or save a reading about another adult without the permission required by the relevant form
• Resell, sublicense or rebrand our reports, content or answers as your own
• Use Service output to train or fine-tune an AI model or build a derivative service without written permission

A proportionate suspension or termination may follow a breach. Serious unlawful conduct may be reported or pursued through lawful process.

8. Intellectual property and your content

8.1 Our content

The prose libraries, brand identity, Site and App code, chart rendering, methodologies and other original content are owned by SNAZZYWORKS or its licensors and protected by applicable law.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services, download reports prepared for you and share reasonable excerpts from your own report for personal, non-commercial use with attribution to https://astroyana.com. You do not receive a right to publish, sell, sublicense, rebrand or claim authorship of the content.

8.2 Your content

You retain ownership of the birth data, messages and feedback you provide. You give us a limited, royalty-free, worldwide licence to process that content only to provide and support the Services, comply with the Privacy Policy and improve the Services using anonymised aggregate insights. We do not claim ownership of your birth data or communications.

9. Pricing, payment and refunds

9.1 Pricing

The price shown at https://astroyana.com/pricing and checkout when you place an order is authoritative. Products include:

• Free Vedic or Western report: ₹0
• Premium reports: one-time purchases, not subscriptions
• Yana credits: prepaid packs (currently 4 credits for ₹199, 8 credits for ₹359 or 12 credits for ₹499). Credits do not expire. There is no subscription, auto-renewal or unlimited plan.

Prices are in INR and include applicable GST unless checkout states otherwise. We issue a GST-compliant tax invoice for a paid order.

9.2 Payment processors and the App

Indian web checkout is processed by Razorpay under its terms. Stripe applies only if an international option is offered. We do not store full card or UPI credentials.

While Play purchasing is dark, the Android App is consumption-only: it does not sell digital goods in-app. Credits and reports are bought on the Site and may then be used or viewed in the App. If Play purchasing is activated later, the Google checkout and refund rail disclosed by the then-current terms applies.

9.3 Refunds

The Refund Policy at https://astroyana.com/refund applies and forms part of these Terms. It does not displace mandatory consumer remedies.

9.4 Permanent withdrawal of a paid service

If we permanently discontinue Yana or the Services, we will:

1. Give at least 30 days' notice by email before purchased credits stop working
2. Keep them usable during the notice period
3. Automatically refund the unused purchased balance pro rata, outside the ordinary Refund Policy windows

Each pack is refunded in the proportion left unused at the price actually paid. Historical actual-price example: 9 unused credits from a 12-credit pack bought for ₹349 produces 9 ÷ 12 × ₹349 = ₹261.75. Different packs are calculated separately and added. Credits are spent oldest pack first.

Free report bonuses, promotions and goodwill credits have no cash value. Spent credits are not refunded. Payment goes to the original method where available, otherwise by bank transfer, with an applicable GST credit note.

This section survives termination. For a lawful termination for cause, we may set off only a documented amount you owe or loss directly caused by the breach, to the extent applicable law permits; the balance remains refundable.

10. Warranties and limitation of liability

10.1 Service availability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, a particular result, or the accuracy of an astrological interpretation. This does not exclude a warranty or consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10.2 Liability cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary loss; lost profits, revenue, opportunity or goodwill; or loss arising solely from reliance on an astrological interpretation.

For claims that may lawfully be capped, our total aggregate liability is the greater of:

• ₹5,000 / $60 for a free-tier user; or
• Three times the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

The exclusions and cap do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by negligence, breach of a non-waivable data-protection duty, an amount we expressly promised to refund, or any other liability that law does not permit us to exclude or limit.

10.3 Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify us for a third-party claim and reasonable documented cost directly caused by your unlawful use, wilful infringement of a third-party right or material breach of these Terms. This does not cover loss caused by our own conduct and is subject to applicable consumer law.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at https://astroyana.com/account/delete or in the App. The Privacy Policy explains deletion and lawful retention.

We may suspend or terminate for a material breach, fraud, harmful or unlawful activity, a binding legal order, or non-payment after reasonable notice. We will normally give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy a remediable breach; immediate action may be necessary for security, fraud, safety or legal compliance. We will explain the reason unless law or security prevents it.

On permanent Service withdrawal, §9.4 controls purchased-credit refunds. Account termination does not remove accrued statutory rights, an approved refund or a claim that already arose.

12. Governing law and disputes

12.1 Governing law and courts

Indian law governs these Terms. Subject to the rights below, courts in Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.

12.2 Good-faith resolution and arbitration

We first invite written notice and 30 days of good-faith negotiation. A dispute that the parties lawfully agree to arbitrate may be resolved by a mutually appointed sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue are Pune and the language is English. Either party may seek interim relief from a competent court.

12.3 Consumer rights and statutory forums

Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to surrender a non-waivable right to approach a Consumer Commission or another competent statutory authority under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law. A mandatory forum, remedy or limitation period prevails over inconsistent wording here.

13. Changes to these Terms

We publish a new version at https://astroyana.com/terms with its effective date. For a material change, we will give advance email notice and, where appropriate, request fresh acceptance at sign-in. A change does not retrospectively remove an accrued right. If you do not accept it, you may stop using the Services and delete your account before it takes effect. Previous versions are available from [email protected].

14. Miscellaneous

These Terms, the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy form the agreement for the Services. If one provision is invalid, the rest continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

You may not assign your account or these Terms without written consent. We may assign them to a genuine successor or affiliate only with notice and without reducing your existing rights.

We are not liable for delay caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, but force majeure does not excuse an amount already owed or the §9.4 permanent- withdrawal refund.

We acknowledge a consumer grievance within 48 hours and seek to redress it within one month. These contacts do not prevent use of a statutory remedy.
