Reading the day

Rikta (empty) tithi falling on Saturday forms a Siddha yoga — an auspicious alignment of day and tithi.

Saturday · Saturn’s day

Favours labour and construction, work with iron, steel, oil and machinery, and tasks needing endurance.

Mula · Tikshna (sharp) star

The Moon’s star suits separations, stern measures, and intense discipline — not auspicious starts.

Rikta (empty) tithi

Auspicious beginnings are set aside; suited instead to clearing debts and removing obstacles.

• ※The Vyaghata yoga is counted inauspicious in its opening portion only; the rest of its span is usable.
• ※Vishti (Bhadra) karana is running — auspicious beginnings are traditionally deferred until it ends; see the karana row for the time.
• ※Disha Shool sits in the east — travellers traditionally avoid beginning a journey toward the east today.

Classical muhurta guidance for the day, calculated without AI. It is general guidance, not a substitute for an elected muhurat.
