A chart can be labelled correctly and still be read badly. The usual failure is to grab the loudest placement or yoga name and turn it into a verdict. This course teaches the slower move: show the chart facts, name the traditional rule being applied, make a proportionate inference, and leave uncertainty visible.
Outcome: combine lordship, condition, relationship, and context into a transparent interpretation that separates observation, tradition, inference, and uncertainty.
The six lessons use one labelled, deliberately didactic, synthetic Leo-lagna chart throughout. It is read as a sidereal, whole-sign teaching chart; no person or private birth record sits behind it. By the end, you will turn its evidence into a short bounded reading that another reader can inspect line by line.
Syllabus
- House lords and lordship — trace a house to its ruler and the ruler's placement.
- Conjunctions and graha drishti — distinguish sharing a place from seeing across the chart.
- Strength, context, and contradiction — weigh a strong signal without letting it erase contrary evidence.
- Yogas without checklist reading — qualify a named combination instead of treating detection as a result.
- Synthesise one life area — build a coherent answer around one house and its lord.
- Write a bounded chart reading — publish the reasoning, the synthesis, and the limit together.
Estimated time: 80 minutes. Level: intermediate. Language: English. The curriculum is provided by Astroyana for educational use; it offers a method for reasoning from chart evidence, not a credential or guaranteed outcome.

- 1House lords and lordshipTrace a house through its sign lord to the ruler’s placement, then state what that link adds without turning it into a verdict.12 min read
- 2Conjunctions and graha drishtiDistinguish grahas sharing one sign from grahas connected by Parashari sight, then add the relationship without losing house context.13 min read
- 3Strength, context, and contradictionTreat dignity as one kind of condition, preserve contrary evidence, and state what remains unknown instead of scoring a chart good or bad.13 min read
- 4Yogas without checklist readingAudit one named yoga against its exact sourced rule, then return the result to house context instead of treating a detector label as destiny.13 min read
- 5Synthesise one life areaOrganise a reading around one question, rank the house and its lord before supporting factors, and produce a short inspectable synthesis.14 min read
- 6Write a bounded chart readingTurn a chart evidence ledger into useful prose that shows its traditional basis, interpretive chain, and concrete limits.15 min read
Astroyana's lessons explain astrology, numerology and related traditions as symbolic systems with long recorded histories. They are intended for learning and reflection and are not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
