Delete my account and data

Export your data, correct account details or request account deletion using Astroyana’s privacy controls.

Astroyana gives you direct control of your data now. You can take a copy, correct it, or erase it — all from your account, no email required. These service controls are aligned with rights provisions in India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) that commence on 13 May 2027.

Export everything we hold

  1. Sign in and open your account page.
  2. Under Your data, choose Export my data.
  3. After a quick fresh sign-in, download the file.

You'll get a structured file containing the personal data linked to your account, including your profile, report records, consent records, saved people, and Yana conversation text where those features are active. (You can export once a day.)

Correct your details

If something's wrong — a misspelled name, an old phone number — just edit it on your account page. To change the email you sign in with, follow Change my email.

Delete your account

  1. Sign in and open your account page.
  2. Under Your data, choose Delete account.
  3. Confirm after a fresh sign-in.

Here's exactly what happens:

  • You're signed out everywhere straight away.
  • Your account enters a 30-day grace window. Change your mind? Just sign back in during those 30 days and the deletion is cancelled.
  • After 30 days, your personal account data is permanently erased — your profile and encrypted birth data, saved people, Yana conversation text, report records, consent records, and PDF files we stored for you.

The one thing we must keep

Indian tax law requires us to keep basic invoice records of past purchases for a fixed period. We remove your name, email, and phone from those retained records. Security and fraud-prevention audit entries may also remain for their published retention period, but the link to your deleted account is removed.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can remove Yana conversations or a saved person's Family Vault details while keeping your account and credits. Follow Delete some of my data.
