Lal Kitab foundations
A two-lesson orientation: the fixed-house kundli, then how we frame its remedies. Not a remedy shop.
Lal Kitab ("the red book") is a 20th-century school of astrology from the Punjab region, set down in a series of Urdu volumes between the 1930s and 1950s. It grew very popular for two reasons: a simpler way of reading a chart, and its famous easy, low-cost remedies.
This short track teaches what sets Lal Kitab apart. First the fixed-house kundli — a chart where the 1st house is always Aries, the 2nd always Taurus, and so on — and the idea that each planet has a "permanent house". Then the spirit of its remedies, and how we present them.
New terms are underlined — hover for a quick definition. And an important note up front: Lal Kitab is a folk tradition with several editions that do not always agree. We teach it for cultural understanding. Its remedies are offered as tradition, not as guaranteed fixes, and never as a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice.
