Two clocks appear beside a Vedic chart. A dasha timeline divides a life into nested planetary periods. A transit snapshot compares the moving sky with the natal chart. Neither clock is an event schedule.

Outcome: read a Vimshottari timeline, compare it with current transits, and write one transparent timing statement that does not promise an event or hide uncertainty.

This intermediate course takes about 57 minutes. Its five lessons follow one invented practice chart—no real person's birth data—and make the evidence stack visible:

  1. separate a calculated window from an event claim;
  2. read the nine-lord Vimshottari sequence and starting balance;
  3. nest an antardasha inside its mahadasha;
  4. compare a transit with a natal anchor; and
  5. combine the layers without manufacturing certainty.

Astroyana can compute the dates and positions. The learner's job is different: keep the calculation, the traditional vocabulary, the interpretation, and the remaining uncertainty in their proper places.

Syllabus

  1. 1Timing without event promisesSeparate what a timing screen calculates from what tradition associates, what a reader infers, and what remains uncertain.10 min read
  2. 2Read the Vimshottari sequenceRead the fixed nine-lord Vimshottari order, total its 120 years, and calculate a simple starting balance from the Moon’s nakshatra.11 min read
  3. 3Mahadasha and antardashaOpen one mahadasha into its nine proportional antardashas, then read the two period lords together without reducing either to a keyword.11 min read
  4. 4Transits as activatorsCompare a current planetary position with a natal anchor, then keep the measured contact separate from the traditional idea of activation.11 min read
  5. 5Combine dasha and transit evidenceStack natal context, mahadasha, antardasha, and transits in order, then write a useful timing statement whose confidence stops before an event promise.14 min read

Astroyana's lessons explain astrology, numerology and related traditions as symbolic systems with long recorded histories. They are intended for learning and reflection and are not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
